Introduction


The tutorial for the course "Developmental and Social Psychology" is intended for students of full - time and distance learning forms of the "Psychology" specialty.

Developmental and social psychology is one of the main subjects, the studying of which is necessary for the professional work of the psychologist. Discipline consists of two sections of "Developmental psychology" - expounds the laws of mental development and personality formation throughout a person's life. Section "Social Psychology" outlines the fundamental problems (communication, social psychology of groups, social psychology of personality). It characterizes the subject of social psychology, historical milestones of its development, methodology and research methods.

The purpose of discipline is to consider the diversity of components of mental and social development of the individual throughout life.

The main objective of the study course - to reveal the defining patterns of mental development, give insight into the most important stages of mental development, age and individual characteristics of the human psyche and explore the social psyche of people.
